BOB JEWELL, PE
Bob has over 16 years of experience in civil and transportation engineering, including traffic engineering and land development. He is well-versed in developing transportation design projects from design conception throughout construction for public entities and private developers. He has worked with local agencies throughout the Northwest on over 200 transportation infrastructure improvement projects. His experience with land development projects augments the value he provides for his clients by understanding the important interface between site and off-site development.
Expert ability in negotiating the “maze” of requirements associated with obtaining WSDOT permits is one of Bob’s singular talents. He has mastered the WSDOT Developer Agreement process by developing a keen understanding of WSDOT design requirements and following a “hands-on” project management approach. These are major reasons why he has been able to obtain more timely WSDOT permits than arguably any other consultant within the WSDOT Olympic and/or Northwest Regions. He is the Principal in-Charge/Project Manager of all transportation design projects. Bob also leads all key meetings with WSDOT and Local Agencies.
Bob thrives on the fast, demanding pace required for many development projects. He takes pride when clients tell him that he is the most “hands on” engineer they have ever worked with. “I like to lead a project from its infancy through construction, always striving towards the goal of providing value to our projects that exceeds our fee.”
Bob is an avid golfer and recently recorded his first hole-in-one. He would relish the opportunity to hit a “hole-in-one” for your project.
